The new UNI5G plans have switched things up, especially when it comes to how long your prepaid credit stays valid. And..... it’s a big deal.
Back in the day with Unifi Bebas Prepaid, you could go about 90 days without worrying about your line getting deactivated as long as you did something – anything, really. Top up, make a 1 second call, use 4G Internet for a minute, or buy a data add-on, and you were good to go for another three months. Easy peasy!
But now, things have gotten a bit tighter with the UNI5G WOW Prepaid. First off, when you buy the Starter Pack for RM10, you get 10GB of data. Sounds sweet, right? But here’s the catch: this data and your account active status only last for 30 days. And after that? You’ve entered what they call a 'grace period', which lasts for 60 days before your account says goodbye. If you compare, that’s a big step down from the nice 90-day cushion we used to enjoy.
So, what’s the big deal, you ask? Well, for starters, this means you need to keep a closer eye on your account. No more "set and forget" for three months. You gotta make sure you top-up or use some of that credit more often, or risk your number getting deactivated and recycled.
